Atmashrama is formed with an objective of paving ways to rekindle Vedic Wisdom for Modern Living. Atmashrama was started in 2006 by group of professionals led by Sudha Vidwan Vidyavaridhi Dr. Raghavendra Acharya Rachuri, M.C.A, MA. PhD, a distinguished techie turned scholar in Vyakarana, Nyaya and Vedanta, who is leading from the front in bringing a change in the mindset of youngsters and kids towards our Tradition, Culture and Philosophy.
With several unique programs like Madhwa Gurukula, Madhwa @ Heart, Madhwa Lab, Madhwa Theater, Pravachana Mandira etc., Atmashrama has established its presence in the hearts of thousands of families as a center for learning and adhyatmik sadhana. Now, Atmashrama has widened the reach of the spread of knowledge world wide through the recently launched a YouTube Channel Prachurantara Pravachanam, which presents motivational and educative high quality discources by reputed scholars. The Channel is presented in Sanskrit, Kannada and Telugu languages. With its unique and attractive programmes, Atmashrama has been successful in catching the imagination of young and old alike.
Over the past decade, Atmashrama has positively influenced hundreds of young men and women by its unique teachings. All of them are now happily leading a successful professional and spiritual life. Beneficiaries of Atmashrama also include several noted doctors, scientists, philosophers, professors, business professionals and students. Even today, hundreds of devotees are getting immensely benefited by Daily and Weekend Classes on Philosophical Texts, Spoken Sanskrit Courses, Workshops, Discourses and Debates.
A group of talented young kids are enrolled full time in Atmashrama Gurukula, and getting a holistic learning which is a rendezvous of Spirituality and Science. The objective of Atmashrama Gurukula is to breed Future Ready Scholars who will become the torchbearers of our culture and philosophy in the future years. As soon as you enter the Ashrama, you will be greeted with kids speaking chaste Sanskrit. Yes, Sanskrit runs in the veins of Atmashrama. All communication happens only in Sanskrit.
While Atmashrama's team is committed to achieve its objectives with available limited resources at its disposal, it is constantly facing infrastructural limitations and needs to upgrade regularly to efficiently cater to the needs of its followers. A lending hand here and there would definitely a shot in the arm in terms of improving the efficiency.
Why support us?
Presently, two key undertakings of Atmashrama are Madhwa Lab and Rajata Pitham.
The Madhwa Lab is a facility developed by Atmashrama at Banashankari 6th Stage in Bangalore as a Unique Knowledge Centre on Madhwa Philosophy and Sanskrit Studies. This is a high-tech facility with a provision for a Seminar Hall, Mini-Theater and Electronic Lab (E-Gallery) and content production facility including a professinal A/V recording studio. With several innovative ideas, Atmashrama aspires to leverage the advances in technology to generate interest in youngsters and kids. Many online courses are presently being conducted benefitting over 500 students.
Visitors
Visitors can watch documentaries in the Madhwa Theater. The Gallery showcases the length and breadth of Madhwa Philosophy to inquisitive learners of all ages. The theater also attracts many visitors for its unique Sarvamoola Gallery housing the entire Sarvamoola Works draped on the walls of the theater.
Atmashrama Gurukula
Atmashrama's Madhwa Lab facility also houses Atmashrama Gurukula. Atmashrama Gurukula is a learning center of a different kind. Here you can see a confluence of rich tradition and technological advances. The Gurukula builds erudite scholars in Sanskrit & Philosophy who are well equipped to utilize the modern technology to learn, impart and practice the Vedic Tradition.
Atmashrama Gurukula runs as per the stringent Vedic Principles no fee is charged for imparting the pristine knowledge to any of the students. The knowledge is imparted selflessly only as a service unto the Almighty. The Gurukula does not receive funds from any Government or Private Institutions. The monthly Gurukula expenditure also includes Sambhavanas to teachers and supporting staff apart from the regular gurukula expenses. The entire funding happens through generous donations from well-wishers who appreciate the good work that the Ashrama is undertaking.
Atmashrama is also planning to start a Research Center to actively conduct research and publication activity in the near future.

Who can support?
The setting up of such a facility needs support chiefly from the beneficiaries of Atmashrama and their contacts and also from philanthropists and organisations who wish to promote Vedic Study and Go Seva. .
Atmashrama, hereby solicits generous donations in the form of monthly recurring deposits or one time sizeable contributions from noble persons who want to join hands with us in preserving our tradition for the continued benefit of present and future generations. It is a responsibility that Atmashrama has taken up contribution to which brings forth greatest of merits to the donors. Supporting noble tasks such as these is a great way to health, peace and prosperity and well-being of the individual and their families.

1. Corpus Fund - Infrastructure Development Fund
To impart quality education to the resident and non-resident, online and offline students, a high-tech infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities is very much essential. Realising the requirement, Atmashrama has embarked upon the construction of its own building housing the Atmashrama Gurukula, Madhwa Lab (Theater and Gallery) and Madhwa Pravachana Mandira in 2014. By the grace of the Almighty, the new Atmashrama building with Atmashrama Gurukula and Pravachana Mandira, Dining Hall with kitchen has been inaugurated by H.H. Sri Satyatma Tirtha Swamiji of Shri Uttaradi Math on 29/4/2016.
The high-tech state-of-the-art Madhwa Lab housing the Madhwa Theater, Madhwa Galleries and Recording Studios has been developed and inaugurated by Sri Satyatma Tirtha Swamiji in the year 2022. The Lab facility is helpful both for the Gurukula students as well as the visitors including children and youth who can watch documentaries and movies, learn, interact and download content about our rich tradition and philosophies.
A good amount of cost is incurred in the maintenance of the facility. Atmashrama also employs a Sound Technician to operate and maintain the facility. The estimated fund requirement for the Madhwa Lab facility is ~ Rs. 1 Lakh per month. Donors are requested to contribute liberally for this noble project.

2. Recurring Expenses - Maintenance Fund
Atmashrma is incurring costs to fund the entire student's stay and learning including food, books, library, technical and non-technical subscriptions and other technological resources like PC, UPS, Project with Screen, Printer, Stationery etc.
Atmashrama is following Organic Farming procedure to produce Vegetables for the consumption of the Gurukula. Atmashrama's Rajata Pitha Farm is being developed at sprawling Kuranagiri Hills near Channapatna about 60 kms from Bangalore of Bangalore - Mysore Expressway.
Apart from the residential students of the Gurukula, the Atmashrama Facility has regular visitors who come to attend classes daily and on weekends. All festivals are celebrated with religious fervour and devotion throughout the year. Sumptuous tirtha prasada is also served to all devotees during Special Events. Many devotees are benefiting from Daily Discourses on Srimad Bhagavatam and Sriman Mahabharatam both in person and online. All this incurs recurring maintenance costs for uninterrupted supply of Electricity, Water, Cleaning, Repairs, Security etc. Around 50k is being spent every month for the proper maintenance of the facility.

Knowledge Fund
As the students grow in their studies new books need to be purchased and added to Atmashrama Library so that we are well updated in terms of access to knowledge. This might include some online subscriptions to reputed technical journals, purchase of printed books, online licenses etc.

Technology Fund
Atmashrama makes best use of Technology to offer online courses, seminars and workshops. With active presence over internet, requests keep coming to provide information through Live Streaming, Mobile Apps etc. This requires lot of investment from the Ashrama side in procuring Audio and Video equipment and uninterrupted internet facility and power supply. Also, Atmashrama requires state-of-the-art PC and Software to carry out DTP tasks such as Movie and Graphic Design to produce active and catchy content.
Atmashrama is looking to build a Computer Lab with Lan Network under a server and ups with high speed internet access.
