Madhwa Lab
Madhwa Lab is a one of its kind facility developed by Atmashrama at Banashankari 6th Stage in Bangalore. It is the primary undertaking of Atmashrama which houses
1. Madhwa Gurukula - to facilitate students to take classes about philosophy and dharmic living - full time residential Gurukula and part time classes for working professionals and students. 2. Pravachana Mandira - to facilitate nearby community members to gain philosophical knowledge with practical applications by listenting to discourses and participating in interactive sessions about our scriptures like Srimad Bhagavatam, Ramayanam or Mahabharatam. The Pravachana Mandira hall also doubles up as an auditorium for celebrating various religious functions like festivals and aradhanas, cultural evenings, tirtha prasada etc.
3. Prachurantara Pravachanam - A youtube pravachana channel to facilitate the world wide community to gain knowledge about our religious practices, philosophical treatises in Kannada, Telugu, Sanskrit & English languages.
4. Madhwa Theater - is the biggest atrraction of Madhwa Lab. It is the only place in the entire world where visitors can find the entire 37 Sarvamoola Works composed by Sri Madhwacharya covering a wide range of scriptures runing into more than 4 lakh characters etched in the walls of the Theater. The Sarvamoola works composed by Sri Madhwacharya are considered to be very auspicious and each letter is belived to house the divya sannidhana of the various forms of the Supreme Lord Lakshmi Naryaana and the Tattvabhimani Devatas. The works are also the very embodiment of Sri Madhwacharya himself. So, Madhwa Theater named as Bhashyalaya, is in a way, a modern temple of Sri Madhwacharya.
The theater is designed to facilitate visitors of Atmashrama especially young children to watch documentaries and movies based on Madhwa Philosophy and Saints. Atmashrama has produced several educational documentaries about our saints and philosophy which can be watched in the theater. Also, movies like Jagannatha Dasaru can also be shown to our younger generations. The 40 seater theater also doubles up as a concert hall and is fully loaded with all advanced features to conduct seminars/workshops/presentations and classes to visitors.
5. Madhwa Gallery - to facilitate visitors and students of Atmashrama to interactively browse through our Madhwa Lab Electronic Library, read/learn, take tests and also download e-books, journals, magazines, questionniares, exam-papers, presentations, recordings and e-text related to Madhwa Philosophy.
6. Madhwa Studio - is a place where all the recording and dubbing happens at Madhwa Lab. It is an accoustically built recording studio with voice room and instrument recording facility for studio quality audio recording, mixing and mastering.
Rajata Pitham
Rajata Pitham is an organic farm house developed by Atmashrama. The farm house is full of plantations with a proposed Yagashala. Yearly Dhatri Pooja and Vana Bhojana events are conducted. The farm also houses a proposed Goshaala with desi cows. The farm is located at foot-hills of the serene Kuranagere Hills near Channapatna off Bangalore-Mysore Expressway. It takes only an hour to reach the farm from the cities of Bangalore & Mysore.
