कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूः मा ते सङ्गोस्त्वकर्मणि ।।
You have the authority only of doing actions but once the actions are done you have no authority to say no to the fruits. Don’t get attached on the fruit of the actions.
उत्साहो बलवानार्य नास्त्युसाहात् परं बलम्।
सोत्साहस्य हि लोकेषु न किञ्चिदपि दर्बलम्।।
O revered one! Zeal is a wonderful power. No other power is superior to determination. Nothing is impossible in this world for a determined man.
उत्तिष्ठ जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान् निबोधत ।
क्षुरस्य धारा निशिता दरत्यया दुर्गं पथस्तत्कवयो वदन्ति।।
Get up! Awake from the deep sleep of ignorance! Approach the excellent teacher and know the Brahman. The scholars say that the path to the knowledge of Brahman is as difficult as walking along the sharp edge of a razor.
स्वायत्तमेकान्तगुणं विधात्रा विनिर्मितं छादनमज्ञतायाः ।
विशेषतः सर्वविदां समाजे विभूषणं मौनमपण्डितानाम् ॥
svAyattamekAntaguNaM vidhAtrA vinirmitaM ChAdanamaj~natAyAH I
visheShataH sarvavidAM samAje vibhUShaNaM maunamapaNDitAnAm II
There is one quality that the Almighty has created which is a cover to one's ignorance. It is the quality of maintaining silence by the laymen in the assembly of scholars.
