।।श्रीजयतीर्थगुरुभ्यो नमः।।
Post-independence, India has become its own master in piloting its own destiny, striving to become a sovereign nation. Today as a nation, we are what we are because of deliberate planning of nearly an octo-decade. But what were we before? What are we now? What kind of states of affair have we brought upon ourselves as a result of our deliberately planned development? Whither of our nation?
So, let us have a crux examination of pre-track and the post-track of India's development.
Plu-present, we were what we were because of the kind of sprit and the vision of our Vedic protagonists dedicated towards us.
Hitherto, we are skidding from those wisdoms and authentic path which has led to a severe damage to the present society, man-kind and to the development of our nation. This is merely because of our ignorance that we ourselves are suffering from political crudeness, social foes such as women-cannibalism, illiteracy and this is a perpetual list of crookedness. There is an absence of morality, hard work done efficiently with honesty and tyrannous act all these are a kind of darkness which the society is bonded with. Presently we are dwelling in such an inevitable darkness which needs to be destroyed by a bright sun called law and a moon called development. Therefore we need to plunge into the ocean of law and development to create a peaceful society, a robust country and man-kind. At this junction philosophy and vedic wisdom are relevant.
As stated by Whitehead – “An active school of philosophy is quite as important for the locomotive of ideas, as an active school of railway engineers for the locomotive of fuels”. so, we need critical analysis and the purport of Vedic texts such as Manu-smriti etc.. it is important for us to follow the path of these texts to have a developed society and nation. Though we have a constitution, we need to amend the constitution by building a conduit between the Vedic texts and the constitution. This is not an easy mission. There is need of a supra-mundane force that can drive us to reach this mission. If we envisage the past India, how it was at the Vedic age, there was no political crudeness and social foes. Especially the women groups enjoyed an upper status in the society, as stated in smriti texts - “यत्र नार्यस्तु पुज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः”।। They were highly educated too. Gargi and other women saints are a trade examples. Bharat was copiously developed socially, economically and in other fields too. The Harappan civilization, the Saraswati civilization are the best examples. Now, it is an instance of disgrace that we don’t have such a society. Therefore we need to rejuvenate the energy of Bharat which is like the hidden pearls in the mud. Though we have lost many precious things such as the Takshashila University which was burnt, but still we are the source of all knowledge of Vedic wisdoms. The present Sri Narendra Modi led government is striving to develop India in many means. For this we need to create synergy among ourselves, be a patriotic and responsible citizen of India. Every youth, every man and women and all of us should join hands in developing India and reaching in great height. So, respected citizens let us forget the history and create a history by pledging in this propitious 74th Independence Day that we will build an empowered India, a robust India and a developed India by eradicating the darkness in the society.
